Welcome to the World of Peter Rabbit. Once upon a time there were four little Rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter. The Tale of Peter Rabbit first appeared in a picture letter written in 1893 by Beatrix Potter for a young family friend and it was published as a book in 1902 of Frederick Warne. Twenty-two other beautifully illustrated books followed; introducing a host of unforgettable characters such as Benjamin Bunny, Squireel Nutkin, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mr, Jeremy Fisher and many others, all drawn from real animals. A lover of the British countryside, in later life Beatrix Potter settled in the English Lake District, and upon her death, she bequeathed her farms and over 4,000 acres of land to the National Trust, who continue to manage her bequest.

This fabric collection features Peter Rabbit and his mischievous cousin Benjamin Bunny.
